What's a personal data?

A personal data is any information that identifies or can be used to identify an individual directly or indirectly.

Examples of personal data include, but are not limited to: first and last name, date of birth, email address, postal address, gender, occupation, photography, or other demographic information.

Some are considered more sensible than others like biometric data, health related data or sexual orientation.

What's a processing activity purpose?

The purposes are the principal objectives for which personal data are collected. These objectives should be clearly identified and personal data should never be processed in a way that is inconsistent with them.

A security policy is a formalized set of strategic elements, guidelines procedures, codes of conduct, organizational and technical rules, with the objective of protecting the business’ information system(s).

What's a subprocessor in the GDPR?

In the context of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a subprocessor is a third-party service provider that processes personal data on behalf of another organization, known as the data controller. The GDPR sets out specific rules and requirements for the use of subprocessors, including the need for a written contract between the data controller and the subprocessor.
